Elijah started tutoring writing at the college level with Antioch College’s Writing Center in 2013 as one of its first employees. Since then Elijah has written a 300 page senior project, had an essay published in an educational theory symposium, and tutored all ages with Varsity Tutors for more than three years. Elijah’s approach to the subject is based around his understanding of interest-led learning: if a student cares about what they’re communicating, all they need is structure, practice, and maybe some editing to succeed.
